This year's vacation started with our cruise to Ensenada and ended with a four-day camping trip to Jalama Beach County Park which is located on a secluded section of coastline in central California. The campground is twenty miles from the nearest town of Lompoc, and about twenty miles from Solvang. It is a quite family- oriented place that we understand attracts return visitors year after year. The almost private beachfront stretches for miles in each direction.
The weather was somewhat overcast the first two days, but after that the sun shined brightly and we all had a great time. Our family camping trips are full of walks and campfires in the evenings. We met two of the families camped next to us and we spent some of our time visiting with them while Karlie played with their children.
